Stage 3 Camp Canberra
Date:19th-21st August 2026
We're embarking on an exciting journey to the heart of Australia's capital - Canberra!
Get ready to explore some of the nation's most iconic landmarks, including Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, and the national Museum, among others. This trip promises an immersive learning experience, complementing our classroom studies focusing on Australian democracy.
We'll be staying at the comfortable and convenient Ibis Styles Canberra, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay throughout our adventure.
Intensive Swimming Stage 1
Date: 14th-25th September
The NSW Department of Education School Swimming Scheme is an intensive learn to swim program, which develops water confidence and provides students with basic skills in water safety and survival. The Scheme is conducted over ten days. Each daily lesson is 45 minutes.
Opera House Recorder - Festival of Instrumental Music
Date: 25th September 2026
The Mimosa Concert at the Opera House will be held on the 25th September 2026. This year we have 33 performers in 3 different recorder sections. The Festival of Instrumental Music (FoIM) brings students from across NSW to perform in combined recorder and string ensembles at the Sydney Opera House.
Together with outstanding instrumental and vocal items from across the state, the festival provides the opportunity for schools to access and perform quality repertoire curated for students in a world class venue.
Participating schools access high quality resources and teacher professional learning opportunities to support their recorder and string ensembles.
