Data walls in classrooms enable teachers to have conversations with their students about where they are, where to next and how to evidence achievement.
The Instructional Leader, as part of her role in supporting pedagogical implementation, worked along side teachers to develop student friendly data walls for Literacy and Numeracy. The purpose is to enable conversations between the teacher and student in regard to their progress. A whole school data wall (mapped to PLAN data) in a central location allows, for professional conversations in regard to supporting student progress. This is updated each term when PLAN data is updated.
